The older my kids get, the more I love Halloween. It's just so fun!
It's so fun seeing all the costumes on instagram. It's like a costume parade.
It's so fun letting the kids be crazy and eat as much candy as they want.
It's so fun soaking in the neighborhood atmosphere - the chill in the air, the buzz all around.
This year Jim had to work again. Darn. Seriously darn.
Grandma and Grandpa helped get everyone ready.
We filled our bellies with chili,
got our costumes on,
and off we went.
At zero hour, Evan decided to be Batman.
Here's what's crazy about this: my cousin's little boy, who was also No Noggin earlier in the month, decided last minute to be Batman too.
Isn't that crazy? CRAZY!
They live in Nebraska.
Avery had her costumes planned out from the beginning and stuck to that schedule. For trick or treating, she wanted to be the Ariel with legs, but no voice.
Grandma helped turn the Jesse wig into an Ariel with bangs wig.
I love it.
For whatever reason, I didn't get many pictures of the third child in the monkey suit.
What's wrong with me?
The monkey walked up to about two doors, but then was content riding around the neighborhood in the stroller eating candy.
It's hilarious the difference between first child and third child when it comes to Halloween.
I'm such a different mom.
Me and G and G and Andrew stood on the sidewalk while these two ran to each door,
"twick or tweet!"
then Evan would exclaim,
"Happy Howweeen!"
and off to the next house.
PS the weather was amazing. It had been raining many days before, and many days after,
but for trick or treating, the clouds parted and it was a perfect 55 degrees. No wind, no rain.
Avery separated her loot into two categories:
good and not good.
Then she made a chart.
The "not good"s went to daddy.
Evan just shoved candy into his mouth as fast as he could.

Well when did they move there? Haha. I was actually waiting for someone to correct me. I wasn't positive where she lives. Obviously.
